PERSONAL: Born Aidan Thomas Albrecht on April 17, 1995 to parents Todd and Kimberly… Has two brothers, Colin (1993) and Logan (2001)… He will be attending Penn State University and majoring in education… Aidan’s second cousin once removed, Donna Weinbrecht, competed in the 1992, 1994 and 1998 Olympics in freestyle skiing… His favorite food is chicken paprikash… He listens to hip-hop/rap music and his favorite musicians are Mac Miller and Kid Cudi… His favorite movie is Harry Potter and his favorite actors are Jack Black and Will Ferrell… Aidan’s favorite professional team is the Pittsburgh Steelers and his favorite athlete is Steve Nash… He most admires his parents because they are always there to support him in success or failure, and their work ethics have helped him in all endeavors… He believes that “Disney is magical regardless of age or visits”… The happiest moment in Aidan’s life was winning a bronze medal at the NORCECA Boys’ 2012 USA Youth National Continental Championship.

Selected to USA Volleyball's High Performance Boys' A1 Camp. 2012 – Member of the bronze medal NORCECA 2012 U.S. Boys’ Youth National Continental Championship team. HIGH SCHOOL/PREP HIGHLIGHTS: 2013 – Named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s Boys’ High School Senior All-America Watch List. 2012 – Named to Volleyball Magazine’s 30 Underclassmen to Watch list… Member of the Old Bridge High School Greater Middlesex Conference Championship team… Named as First Team All-Greater Middlesex Conference player and Greater Middlesex Conference Player of the Year… Earned MVP honors at Old Bridge High School and the Raider Invitational Tournament… Member of First Team All-State Honors. 2011 – Selected to the All-Conference team… Old Bridge High School varsity team member. He became the first Old Bridge High School sophomore to start on varsity… Noted in Volleyball Magazine’s Class of 2013 as one of the best players the east coast has ever seen. 2010 – Old Bridge High School junior varsity team member. He became the first Old Bridge High School freshman to start on junior varsity.
