Danielle started speedskating when she was 9 years old in Roseville, Minnesota. Two years into ice, she started racing inlines for a few years winning local titles in her oval series. At the age of 13, she stopped inlining to pursue cycling as a summer sport. After only two years of cycling she managed to obtain a couple top 10 finishes at US Nationals and compete in an international Junior tour in Canada. After five years of racing both road and track bikes, Danielle decided to take a break from cycling and is now skating full time.
Off the ice Danielle like to go out with friends, watch movies and travel. I'm currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and double majoring in Kinesiology and industrial Engineering and want to eventually want to go into biomechanics.
Danielle is Category 1 athlete every year since 2007 and she is 2 time jr world cup member.
