John Daly graduated college with a bachelors degree in Public Relations and Advertising.  He ran track and field while in college and was all-American in the decathlon. 

Daly began competing in the sport of skeleton in 2001.  In 2000-2010, he won gold in the Intercontinental Cup and the America's Cup. In the 2008-09 season, Daly won 1st in the St. Moritz Europa Cup as well as the Igls Europa Cup.  During the 2007-08 season, he placed 1st in the Lake Placid America's Cup.
