Congratulations to Megan Dovell of Duluth, GA, and to the entire Women’s Inline Hockey team on winning the silver medal at the 2012 FIRS World Inline Hockey Championship in Bucaramanga, Colombia, June 30 – July 8. 2012 was her first time playing for Team USA and first time attending the Inline World Championships. Megan is currently a 3k teacher at the International Preschool, and also works for the Atlanta Hawks a member of the NBA. She currently plays for Team Georgia Hockey Club.

Who is the person you most admire/greatest influence in your life and why: My mother for always demonstrating a relentless work ethic. My pastor for leading me and opening a door for me to have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, whom in turn has given me strengh. Many other individuals I have met, whom have a 'no quitting, no excuses, live your dream' attitude.
List your hobbies: playing recreational sports, travel, couchsurfing(part of travel, writing poetry, acting, meeting new people, volunteering at my church. (Sunday school teacher)
What music do you listen to during training or competition? mostly hip/hop (but no music guru!). sometimes techno, or tribal beats when I am trying to stay in the zone during a specific type of training.
What makes you a unique and special person: Generally speaking I am book whom cannot be judged by it's cover.
