Personal: Married to wife Catheine in 2002.  Have one cat and live by the beach in CT. Likes old VW's and vintage mountain bikes.

Elite triathlon career: Dominic began his professional triathlon career in 2002 and 2003 when he was a member of the USA Triathlon National Resident Team based out of the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. While at the OTC he was training for ITU triathlon events with a focus on the 2008 Olympics.  Finding the XTERRA triathlon events more to his liking he became a professional off-road triathlete and a NORBA pro mountain biker. Since 2004, his focus has been on the XTERRA USA race series. In  2004 he placed 4th at the XTERRA World Championships in Maui. He was the top American finisher at the XTERRA East Championships 4 times (2002, 2003, 2004, 2006.) For 2009 Dominic will focus on the XTERRA USA series and a few select 1/2 Iroman events. He is a coach and the Head of Triathlete Training at TARGETRAINING in Westport, CT.

Athletic background: Swam at the University of Connecticut 1995-2000. Holds UCI elite MTB and Cyclocross license.
