Jackson was a three-sport athlete in college, participating in baseball, basketball, and soccer. He won conference championships in basketball and soccer. Jackson was introduced to handball as a high school freshman and has been playing the sport for 14 years. He is a teacher's aide for Hempstead School District as well as a high school coach for basketball, football and soccer. Divine has one daughter, Rielle Jackson.
