Iris Wang is the daughter of Raymond and Dora Wang…She has one sister, Rena, with whom she competes in women’s doubles…Is currently a senior at Arcadia High School in Arcadia, Calif. and will graduate in Spring 2012…Has participated in badminton, cross country and track and field during high school…Speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese…Hobbies include reading, listening to music and playing video games…On her i-Pod she has a variety of music including pop, hip-hop, alternative, acoustic, folk and oldies…Her favorite movie is White Chicks and her favorite television shows are Make It or Break It and My Wife and Kids…Lists her older sister Rena as her role model because she “sets a good example, is smart and is kind to everyone”…When asked what makes her a unique and special person, she responded: “I’m straight forward, simple, vivacious person who brings good energy to those around me.
