At the London 2012 Paralympic Games, the goal of securing a medal was not achieved by Great Britain’s David Wetherill. Instead he has gained World fame! The Class 6 player has been nominated for an ESPY Award.

The 2013 US Open and accompanying 2013 America’s Challenge World Tour event will be breaking all attendance records for a US Open Table Tennis Championship. Counting both events, we have almost 1,200 participants – a new record.

One thing that impressed me about the organizers was the calmness. When the bus driver was late, he didn't panic and start running down pedestrians. When the arena was being set up with a hundred things on the to-do list, the crew methodically went down the list and did things one at a time.

I had a 1200-rated 11-year-old student recently at a tournament who faced long pips for the first time, against a higher-rated player.
A total of 14 coaches are in attendance from the various areas of the state, alongside coaches from Georgia and Ohio. Two additional coaches from Costa Rica and four from Bermuda joined in on the learning.
