Jul 17 United States Olympic Committee Contracts with Chicago-Based SCI Television Productions for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games

 SCI to Provide Satellite Media Tour Services to USOC Corporate Partners in Beijing

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The United States Olympic Committee (USOC) has announced an agreement with SCI Television Productions of Chicago to provide a full array of production services throughout the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. USOC Corporate Partners and suppliers requiring production services such as satellite media tours (SMTs), b-roll packages, web videos and documentaries will have SCI onsite to accommodate these needs throughout the Olympic Games.

This marks the first year the USOC has contracted with a production company for Corporate Partners at the Olympic Games. SCI will work primarily from USA House and the USOC High Performance Training Center.

SCI Television Productions is a full-service, multi-media content producer that has provided services in the sports marketing world for more than 20 years. The company has been on location and provided production services at several Olympic Games beginning with Barcelona in 1992, as well as the FIFA World Cup, the Festival de Cannes, the Goodwill Games and the America's Cup Finals. SCI's work has covered 39 states and 18 countries.
