Mark your calendars for March 25, 2012 for the Maine State Biathlon Championships.
Welcome to the Maine State Biathlon Championships 2012! The Maine State Biathlon Championships is a great opportunity for those individuals new to biathlon, a sport that combines marksmanship and cross-country ski skills, to experience the amazing rush and excitement of the sport. We encourage all age levels and abilities to come and join us on the 25th of March for skiing, shooting, fun, and home made food. We will have an experienced biathlete sprint mass start in the morning, a shooting clinic with MWSC and 10th Mountain Ski Club biathlon coaches at 12:30 PM, and then wave starts divided by age categories beginning at 1:45 PM. If you want, you can make it an entire weekend by participating in the Arooski Ski Tour on Saturday and the Maine State Biathlon Championships on Sunday.
