Results from Day One of the U.S. Paralympics Cycling National Championships

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -Day one of the 2008 U.S. Paralympics Cycling National Championships wrapped up today at the velodrome in Colorado Springs, Colo., where men raced individually in the kilo and women in the 500m.
Highlights of the day included an unofficial world record in the women's 500m by Jennifer Schuble (Homewood, Ala.), who finished with a time of 41.257(CP4).
U.S. Paralympics Cycling Resident athlete Greta Neimanas (Colorado Springs, Colo./Chicago, Ill.) also set a new personal best (39.405) in the women's 500m.

The trials will continue at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 4th at the velodrome with the men's and women's pursuit events, and will wrap up on Friday, June 6th with the road time trials at Bear Creek Lake Park in Morrison, Colo.
