COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--U.S. Paralympics is pleased to announce the athletes that will compete at the 2010 UCI Para-Cycling Road World Championships, August 15-23 in Baie-Comeau, Quebec, Canada.

There are some fresh faces joining Team USA this year. On the women's side, up-and-comer Megan Fisher (Missoula, Mont.) joins Paralympic alpine skiing legend Muffy Davis (Salt Lake City, Utah), now breaking onto the international scene in a different sport, as new athletes to watch.

In 2007, Kelly Crowley (Redwood, Calif.) stood on the podium at road cycling worlds. She then took some time away from the sport, got married and is now back on the bike with hopes of repeating her medal performance from three years ago.

Team USA mainstays Barb Buchan (Bend, Ore.), Allison Jones (Colorado Springs, Colo.), U.S. Army veteran Jennifer Schuble (Homewood, Ala.) and Greta Neimanas (Chicago, Ill./Colorado Springs, Colo.) round out the women's team.

The men return reigning handcycle time trial world champion & U.S. Marine Corps veteran Oz Sanchez (San Diego, Calif.), David Randall (Mansfield, Ohio), Anthony Zahn (Riverside, Calif.), Mike Farrell (Colorado Springs, Colo.), U.S. army veteran Craig Vogtsberger (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) and the tandem team of Clark Rachfal (Annapolis, Md.) and pilot Dave Swanson (Tucson, Ariz.) from last year's road world championships team.

Matt Updike (Denver, Colo.) and Sam Kavanagh (Bozeman, Mont.) aren't new on the cycling scene, but neither competed in last year's road world championships. Both are on the squad this year and look to be strong medal contenders after solid performances at U.S. nationals last month.

Brand new to Team USA is U.S. Navy veteran Steven Peace (San Diego, Calif.) who will make his international cycling debut when he takes to the road in Canada later this summer.
