COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. - The television schedule for field hockey at the Olympics Games has been released by NBC. For the first time in history, all of Team USA's scheduled matches will be shown live on the NBC network.
Team USA kicks off its Olympic run against Germany on July 29 at 4:15 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. Up next is Argentina, who will look to avenge their loss from the Pan American Games final. The match will be live on MSNBC, July 31 at 2 p.m. ET. The third preliminary matchup for Team USA features world ranked No. 7 Australia on August 2 at 5:45 a.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. The final two matches of the preliminary rounds has the U.S. facing off against a talented New Zealand squad on August 4 at 2 p.m. on NBC Sports Network and South Africa on August 6 at 5:45 a.m. ET, also on NBC Sports Network.
