The multi-year agreement will feature glo on the front of the Women’s National Team jersey and represents the first ever corporate advertiser on the Women’s National Team uniform.

As the official uniform sponsor, the glo brand will receive placement on the front of the Women’s National Team jersey and podium suits. Jersey-front sponsors are frequently seen amongst golfers, soccer teams around the world, Nascar and IndyCar drivers. In addition, the glo brand will have prominent placement across all National USA Field Hockey events and media.

Maria Whitehead, a former Junior National Team member lost her life to melanoma on November 1, 2006 at only the age of 25. Skin cancer is the most common of all cancers and accounts for nearly half of all cancer in the United States. More than 2 million cases are found in the U.S. each year. Melanoma, the most serious type of skin cancer, will account for more than 75,000 cases of skin cancer in 2012.
