COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo – Today USA Field Hockey announced a premier partnership with glōProfessional, a leading skin care, make-up and hair care company dedicated to the beauty and integrity of women. The multi-year agreement will feature glo on the front of the Women’s National Team jersey and represents the first ever corporate advertiser on the Women’s National Team uniform.
"Everyone at glōProfessional feels honored to be a part of the achievements of these world-class athletes," said Sean Butler, President of glo Professional. "We're passionate about helping athletes perform their best when they're competing and we take great pride in their belief and trust in the benefits of our products. In addition, the glo brand will have prominent placement across all National USA Field Hockey events and media.
“glōProfessional represents an exciting addition to our family of premier sponsors, said Steve Locke, Executive Director, USA Field Hockey. Securing a uniform sponsor is a testament to the success of the Women’s National Team qualifying for London and the increase in membership numbers over the last year. We are pleased to be partnering with an organization that shares similar values as USA Field Hockey and is committed to helping us grow the game from the grassroots to the Olympic level.”
glōProfessional will also partner with USA Field Hockey on the Sun Safe Play initiative, an educational program designed to raise awareness on the importance of playing and practicing safely in the sun and the prevention of melanoma and skin cancer.
"glōProfessional is proud to partner with the USA Field Hockey Team for the Sun Safe Play! program to raise awareness and prevention of melanoma and skin cancer and stress the importance of using sun protection properly every day,” said Lisa Bookman, Director of Marketing for glōProfessional.
