DATE CHANGE FOR CUBA TRAINING/COMPETITION OPPORTUNITY

As the Senior National Championships in Virginia Beach is scheduled for April 13-14, USA Judo has adjusted the return date from Cuba by one day.  The first available return date from Cuba is now April 11 rather than April 12.  This will allow members the opportunity to return to the United States in time to participate in the Senior National Championships.  This date change has been reflected in the package pricing below.  Please remember that the first deadline is Monday February 18.

Travel dates will be leaving Miami on April 4 and returning on either April 11 or 15 (two options).  Those coaches, parents and athletes attending will have to travel on the set dates as there are no other choices for travel. You will need to be at Miami International Airport by 6:00am on April 4.  Departure from Miami International home can be anytime after 6:00pm on either April 11 or 15.

This event is open to Junior and Senior athletes as well as club and national level coaches.  Any junior athlete traveling will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

This trip will include competition and training sessions. Costs include airfare from Miami/Cuba/Miami, all ground transportation in Cuba, hotel, VISA and 3 meals a day.

Basic Information

Visa:                         Are required for travel to Cuba.  USA Judo will apply for VISA’s.

*Passport:               Must be current for a minimum of six (6) months after date of travel

Age:                          Minimum age of 9 years old.  Must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian

Payment:                 50% due 2/18       balance due  3/15

Membership:          All athletes and coaches must be a member in good standing with USA Judo.

*For anyone attending who was born in Cuba and left after 1971, please contact Jhonny Prado as there are special circumstances regarding passports.
