Mar 11 Memorial service in honor of Keiko Fukuda Sensei

A memorial service in honor of Keiko Fukuda Sensei will be held at the Herbst Theater, 401 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, California 94102 on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM. 

If you wish to send a donation in honor of Fukuda Sensei it would be greatly appreciated if you would kindly please consider the following:

1. Keiko Fukuda & Shelley Fernandez Girls & Women Judo Foundation, Inc:

A 501(3)(c) charity (pending) which provides scholarships for females, regardless of rank, to attend competitions and judo camps, train women to become judo instructors, do outreach and pay dojo dues for economically disadvantaged females. 
 
2. Keiko Fukuda Joshi Judo Inc:

A 501(3)(c) charity who’s purpose is to share and promote all positive aspects of the philosophy, tradition, and techniques of the martial art of judo; and  encourage women to participate in judo by hosting an annual judo camp for women (Joshi Judo Camp).
 
3. USJF Keiko Fukuda Scholarship:

A program of USJF Endowment Trust established by Fukuda Sensei to encourage female judoka to continue their formal education and/or further their training in judo. 
 
4. Soko Joshi Judo Club:

The women’s judo club in San Francisco founded by Fukuda Sensei.
