Final World Cup Begins Thursday in Berlin

The final stop of the 2010 Modern Pentathlon World Cup Series, World Cup #5 is set to take place in Berlin, Germany on Thursday. This is the final opportunity for athletes to gain points to qualify for the World Cup Final in Russia where only the top 36 men and women can compete.
The seven-member U.S. team competing this weekend includes 2008 Olympians
Eli Bremer (Monument, Colo.) and
Margaux Isaksen (Fayetteville, Ark.), along with
Sam Sacksen (Somerset, Pa.),
Dennis Bowsher (Dallas, Texas),
Will Brady (Howell, Mich.),
Mickey Kelly (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and
Anna Olesinski (Roswell, N.M.).
The UIPM will broadcast the finals LIVE on Internet TV at pentathlon.org on June 5 (Men’s Final) and June 6 (Women’s Final). The broadcast will feature highlights from the fencing and swimming events as well as live coverage of the riding and combined events.
The Berlin World Cup is the fifth in a series of six events in 2010 which will culminate in the World Cup Final to be held in Moscow, Russia on June 18-20.
