The Senior Solo Dance final event at the 2008 Senior World Roller Figure Skating Championship featured a broad range of exciting freedance programs. Our own Joseph Farias ended up in 4th place after tripping the light fantastic broadway style. Anthony Peck earned a 6th place as Elvis in a mix of well known rock and roll tunes with all the footwork and the moves needed to bring the King back in our memories. Other programs included high drama, comedy, romance and even break dancing.

This was the first season for the Senior Solo Dance and the second season for Junior Solo in world competition. The events are entertaining and a great opportunity for talented dance skaters in all countries.
