Banked track derby rollin’ into Ventura

Ventura County, CA- Sugartown Rollergirls first and only banked track roller derby league is skating into their inaugural season June 30, 2012 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. Roller derby has experienced a nation-wide outburst in the past few years, and now banked track roller derby has found its way to Ventura County.

STRG is a skater-owned, women’s and men’s banked-track roller derby league with members from all around Ventura County. STRG was founded in Dec 2009 with the intention of bringing banked track roller derby to Oxnard and providing a new and exciting form of entertainment for the community, while also serving as a charitable organization in the community.
