The Midland Rockets inline speed skating team finished second out of nine teams recently at the Michigan Roller Skating Organization city league meet held at the Midland Roll Arena.

Finishing first in their respective divisions for the Rockets were Miranda Noel (5-and-under girls), Conner Gibbs (6-8 boys), Kimber Buzzard (11-12 girls), Jessica Gault (13-14 girls), Blake Powaga (15-16 boys), and Jamie McMillian (41-55 women).
