La Mirada Aquabelles - Coaches Wanted
The LA MIRADA AQUABELLES, a dynamic group of hard working, motivated athletes, is looking for experienced high level candidates to fill coaching positions including the position of Head Coach. Join us in sunny southern California at our beautiful facility in Los Angeles to work with a small but mighty group of swimmers encompassing all club competitive levels of the sport.
Athletes in our program range from novice swimmers learning strong fundamentals to swimmers with multiple appointments to Team USA; in 2013 alone, the La Mirada Aquabelles has placed athletes on every level of the national team from the 11-12 US Team all the way to US National Team One. Our team achieved the second place High Point ranking at the US Age Group National Championships in June.

Assistant Synchronized Swimming Coach (Portland, OR)
The Multnomah Athletic Club seeks qualified candidates for the Assistant Synchronized Swimming Coach position. The qualified candidate must be able to assist the Head Synchronized Swimming Coach with coaching duties for both junior and masters programs, provide assistance to swimmers in establishing individual goals and prepare them for competition. Must be able to perform selected administrative duties as directed by the Head Synchronized Swimming Coach including tracking individual swimmers progress, processes meet entries, submitting communication requests and work orders, and arranging travel as necessary. Requires availability to attend and coordinate activities of team members at selected away meets and help coordinate practices and schedules with members, parents, and Aquatics staff.
Duties include developing practices, lesson plans and routines appropriate to a variety of swimming levels, coordinating camps, clinics and workshops as directed, and providing event information to participants, members, and staff as directed.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and education is preferred. Previous synchronized swimming experience in coaching or as an athlete is required. Must be able to demonstrate skills at a proficient level. Possession of current CPR and First Aid certifications as well as US Synchronized Swimming Coaching Certification Program (CCP) Level 1. Requires strong, effective written and verbal communication skills.

Synchro Stars Jamaica is a vibrant and excited club based on Kingston, Jamaica. We have a small yet strong group of swimmers (aka STARS) supported by their parents and a strong clubs administration. We believe in giving back so though we are small, we facilitate an inner city school program as well as a learn-to-swim that we are very proud of. We have swimmers in all three categories (novice, intermediate, and age group) and boost National Swimmers, as well. Since our inception in 2009, our coaches have been called to serve as Jamaica's National Coach (CARIFTA, CCCAN & CISC) and also served as members of the Synchronized Swimming Technical Committee, Synchronized Swimming Selection Committee and represented the club at our Federation's (ASAJ) level.
Our yearly club meet, Jamaica International Synchronized Swimming Championship (JISSC), is endorsed by the Government of Jamaica and has had competitors from the USA, Curacao, Panama, Canada, Aruba, Costa Rica since its inception in 2009. Last year, we had Charlotte Davis (USA) and the President of USA Synchro, Judy McGowan. In 2013 we will have British Synchro game-changer, Jennifer Gray as our Patron, Evaluator, and Referee. It is sometimes great being a small nation as you have many more chances of excelling, making a name for yourself and, most of all, evoking change. The New Canaan YMCA Aquianas Synchronized Swimming Team, located in New Canaan, CT, is seeking a full-time coach for the 2013-2014 season. The Aquianas is a fast-growing, nationally-ranked program in a supportive environment. Synchronized Swimming, Swim Team, Gymnastics/Acrobatics, Pilates or ballet experience is a must. Coaching experience is preferred.
Applicants should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with and desire to learn from the existing coaching staff, as well as share new ideas and techniques.
