USA Taekwondo is saddened to learn of the passing of Grand Master Jhoo Beom Lee, member of the USAT Martial Arts Commission. Grand Master Lee passed away on August 18 after battling stomach cancer.

"Grand Master Jhoo Beom Lee was a great martial artist who among his many accomplishments was an instructor to action movie superstar Jean Claude Van Damme," said USAT CEO David Askinas. "He was a great friend to USAT and a member of our Martial Arts Commission. He was always upbeat looking to help out USAT in anyway he could. He will be missed."
