COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Dec. 7, 2012 –Kristi George (Indianapolis, Ind.), Akiko Reyes (Aiea, Hawaii) and Amber Rodriguez (Reseda, Calif.) kept the U.S. on the podium Dec. 7 at the 2012 WTF World Poomsae Taekwondo Championships in Tunja, Colombia. George took silver in 2nd Master, and Reyes and Rodriguez each earned bronze in 1st Master and Senior Women’s Freestyle, respectively.

The three U.S. medals followed a competition-leading three gold medals on Dec. 6, but Team USA could not keep pace with Korea, who collected six gold medals on the tournament’s second day. The U.S. currently stands in second in the medal count with three gold, one silver and two bronze. Korea leads all nations with six gold, one silver and one bronze.
