RE:                 POOMSAE ATHLETE AAC REPRESENATION

The purpose of this memorandum is to clarify USA Taekwondo’s (USAT) position with respect to Poomsae athlete representation on the USAT Athletes’ Advisory Council (AAC).

Recognizing that the USAT Board, staff and AAC representatives wish to ensure that our USAT AAC is as reflective of our athlete population as possible, we are currently working with our athlete representatives on the Board of Directors (Dr. Jason Han and Barb Kunkel) as well as current USOC AAC Representative (Eric Laurin) to integrate Poomsae athletes into the future makeup of the USAT AAC.

More details will be posted in the near future but please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions.
